Where is your studio?

What about car parking facilities?

We have plenty of free parking around the studio.

How long will my session take?
Most portrait sessions, even big family ones, usually only take up to an hour but we will discuss your exact requirements at the time of your booking.

We have a big family group – will this cost more?
No, not at all – the hourly charge applies whether you are a group of ten or just on your own. For larger family groups we will endeavour to include as many “grouping” options as possible during your shoot – individual photos, groups of just the adults, groups of just the children and any other combinations that you would like.

How many photos will you take during my shoot?
For a one hour shoot we would generally provide you with a minimum of 35 proofs to choose from.

What should I wear for my portrait shoot?
Whatever you feel comfortable in – most people prefer to wear smart-casual clothes for their shoot, but feel free to bring a change of clothes if you wish to give you more choice.

Do you have a make up artist?

Yes, we are very lucky to work with Sanchia Finlay from Finlay Make Up (www.finlaymakeup.co.uk) – Sanchia works with us extensively and uses only the best quality products to ensure a flawless make up finish. The cost for make up at your portrait session is £20 per person but please note this MUST be booked in advance to ensure Sanchia’s availability.

Can you do location shoots?
Yes – we are happy to discuss location shoots with you – please see our Price list for costs. For customers coming to our studio we also have several outdoor locations around the studio that we can use for part or all of your shoot, weather permitting of course.

What kind of portraits can you do?
Our most popular portraits are family groups, individuals, couples, pregnancy and newborn portraits – during your shoot you can choose formal “classic” shots, informal “lifestyle” shots, “hobby” shots (if you have a favourite pastime or sport, bring along your kit!) or even a mixture of them all, if time permits.

Do you have any loyalty schemes for your customers?
We have a VIP card scheme – this card gives you a maximum of 12 free studio sittings a year, for up to ten years. As well as protecting you from future sitting price increases, this also makes an ideal gift for families, especially those expecting a baby or with a newborn – a chance to have a month-by-month record of baby’s first year!
The VIP card can be obtained in one of 3 ways:
For a one-off charge of £199
When a customer spends over £1000 – on a cumulative basis, not just in one transaction – that customer automatically qualifies for a free VIP card
All wedding bookings qualify for a free VIP card as soon as the booking fee has been paid.
VIP card holders will also qualify for special offers throughout the year.

Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes, we do and we also have a small kitchen and microwave if you need to feed your baby while you’re here.

Can I bring the along the family dog?

As long as he or she is well behaved, we would love to include your dog in the shoot.

After my shoot, how will my proofs be displayed?

We can set you up private link to a password protected online gallery if you wish – click here to see an example - from which you can view and purchase your images. If you would prefer you are welcome to come back to the studio for a post-shoot review of your proofs and to discuss framing options.

How long will it take for my proofs to be ready?

Please allow up to 7 days for post-production of your proofs. If you need your proofs to be available sooner than this, it is possible to have them available within 48 hours – we can usually accommodate this but a supplementary charge of £50 would be added to cover this “fast track” service as this will require our staff to work out of hours.

How long will my online gallery be available for?

Usually a minimum of 3 months, but we generally leave galleries online until space becomes a problem – then they are archived in time order (oldest being archived first). We then store your proofs indefinitely, so once your gallery has been removed if at a later date you wished to re-order we can reload your gallery for a limited time while you place your order.

How and when do we pay for our shoot?

Unless you are paying by gift voucher we ask for a £10 deposit in order to secure your booking. Please click HERE to pay by credit or debit card – we can accept debit cards, VISA, MASTERCARD and PayPal.
If you would prefer to pay by cheque please make it payable to Blenheim Photography Ltd and send it to Unit 12, Highnam Business Centre, Newent Road, Highnam, Gl2 8DN.

Can my friends and family place orders from our online gallery?

Your gallery will be available to whoever you wish to give the link and password to.
